This article covers ATTACK SHARK X820ULTRA ゲーミングメカニカルキーボード.

Overview

The ATTACK SHARK X820ULTRA is a full-size mechanical gaming keyboard that brings RGB backlighting and mechanical switches to an affordable price point. It connects via USB-C and works with Windows PCs without driver installation. The keyboard features a QWERTY layout and offers a detachable USB-C cable for easy portability. Positioned as an entry-level to mid-range option, it delivers the satisfying tactile feedback of mechanical switches at a fraction of the cost of premium models.

Connectivity & Compatibility

The X820ULTRA uses a USB-C interface for connection, and the included cable converts to USB-A for compatibility with standard desktop and laptop ports. The detachable cable design makes it simple to store or replace if damaged. The keyboard is plug-and-play on Windows, with no additional software required. The layout is QWERTY (US ANSI), meaning keys like Enter and Shift are in different positions compared to Japanese JIS layouts. MacOS and Linux compatibility are not officially stated, but basic keyboard functions may work.

Product Info

The ATTACK SHARK X820ULTRA was released in late 2024 and is available through Japanese online retailers and other online retailers. The price is around ¥17,000 as of late 2026, though it may vary. The package includes the keyboard, a USB-C to USB-A cable, and a quick-start manual. Warranty coverage is provided by the seller (Westria) and typically covers initial defects for 30 days. This model sits in the entry-level to mid-range segment, offering mechanical switches and RGB lighting at a competitive price point.

Best Use Cases

  • First-time mechanical keyboard buyers: This is a great entry point for those wanting to experience mechanical switches without a high investment. The tactile feel is a clear upgrade from membrane keyboards, but build quality and key consistency won't match higher-end models.
  • Budget-conscious gamers: If you want RGB lighting and mechanical keys for gaming but are on a tight budget, the X820ULTRA delivers the essentials. The lack of software customization is a trade-off, but onboard lighting patterns are available.
  • Students or remote workers seeking a mechanical option: The keyboard can handle daily typing and gaming, but be aware of two caveats: the layout is English ANSI, and the switches are not particularly quiet. If you need a silent keyboard or a Japanese layout, consider other options.
