1. Information We Collect
- Usage data for analytics: pages viewed, referrer, approximate region, device and browser type. This is not linked to your name or email address.
- Connection data recorded by our delivery infrastructure: IP address, timestamp and requested URL, used to block abusive access.
- Whatever you enter in the contact form. Fields differ by category; an APK bug report asks for device, OS, app version, reproduction steps and any error text.
There is no account system. We do not hold membership records or purchase histories.
2. Purpose of Use
Collected information is used to improve site quality, prevent abuse and respond to inquiries. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell data to third parties.
3. Cookies and Analytics
This site uses Google Analytics (measurement ID G-Y5YY8M2R07). It uses cookies to aggregate browsing activity; no personally identifying information is sent. Google's handling of that data follows its own policy. You can stop collection by disabling cookies in your browser or by installing Google's opt-out add-on.
Traffic is also routed through Cloudflare for delivery stability and attack mitigation. Cloudflare processes the connecting IP address and may set its own cookies for that purpose.
4. How We Handle Your Inquiry
Bug reports about the Android app (APK) are sent to an AI — Anthropic's Claude — for analysis. This covers the report text plus the device, OS, app version, reproduction steps and error text you provide. It is used only to look for a fix. Inquiries in any other category are never sent to an AI. If you would rather not include identifying details, leave them out — the analysis still works.
Copyright claims are placed on hold the moment they arrive. No article is removed or hidden until a person has reviewed the claim. This exists so that an article cannot be taken down on a third party's say-so alone.
Inquiries are stored as a record of our response, readable only by the site operator.
5. Data Stored in Your Browser
Favourites, your MyPC hardware profile, BTO build drafts and the Monster Hunter Portable 3rd trackers are kept inside your own browser (localStorage). They are not transmitted to the server and the operator cannot see them. Clearing your browsing data deletes them.
6. Affiliate Links
Links in the pricing area may be affiliate links for the Amazon Associates, Rakuten Affiliate and eBay Partner Network programmes. Opening one may cause the destination merchant to set a cookie for attribution. Which products we list, and how we describe them, is not influenced by these relationships.
7. Third Parties
Except where required by law, we do not sell or disclose personal information to third parties. The following providers process data in the course of operating the site:
- Google — analytics
- Cloudflare — delivery and attack mitigation
- Anthropic — analysis of APK bug reports only (see section 4)
- The language-model providers used to generate articles. Generation draws on public product information only; nothing collected from visitors is fed into it.
8. About the Android App
The Android app distributed here contacts this site to load articles and listings. Favourites and your MyPC profile are stored on the device and are not sent to the server. The app carries no advertising or behavioural tracking.
9. Changes
This policy may be updated as needed. Significant changes will be announced on this page.
