This article covers Razer Huntsman V3 Pro (アナログスイッチ).

Overview

The Razer Huntsman V3 Pro is a flagship gaming keyboard featuring Razer's 2nd-generation analog optical switches. With an adjustable actuation range from 0.1mm to 4.0mm and Quick Trigger technology that resets the key at the slightest release, it delivers unmatched responsiveness for competitive FPS gaming. It also supports Razer Snap Tap, which prioritizes the last input between two selected keys for near-instantaneous direction changes. The keyboard comes with durable PBT double-shot keycaps and a magnetic faux leather wrist rest. This particular model uses the AZERTY layout, catering to French-speaking users.

Connectivity & Compatibility

The Huntsman V3 Pro connects via a detachable USB-A cable and is compatible with Windows 10 and later. While Razer Synapse software offers deep customization, the keyboard's onboard LED array allows real-time adjustment of actuation point and Quick Trigger sensitivity without any software. Note that it does not support macOS or game consoles. The AZERTY layout is ideal for French/Belgian users but may be unfamiliar to those accustomed to QWERTY or JIS layouts.

Product Info

Launched in 2023, the Razer Huntsman V3 Pro currently retails for around ¥73,209 on Japanese online retailers. It comes with a 2-year warranty and includes the keyboard, magnetic wrist rest, quick-start guide, and Razer stickers. Positioned at the very top of the gaming keyboard market, it competes with the Wooting 60HE and SteelSeries Apex Pro, but stands out with its wide actuation range and Snap Tap feature.

Best Use Cases

First and foremost, this keyboard is built for competitive FPS players. Quick Trigger and adjustable actuation enable rapid tap-strafing and jiggle-peeking that mechanical switches cannot match. It's an excellent choice for serious Counter-Strike 2 and Valorant players. Second, power users who frequently tweak their keyboard settings will appreciate the onboard adjustment—no software needed to change actuation per game. Finally, French-speaking users who require an AZERTY layout will find this a rare high-end option. However, casual typists or those seeking a quiet keyboard may find the analog optical switches too loud.
