Overview

The OBSBOT TINY 2 Lite is a 4K webcam that combines AI-powered auto-tracking with a 2-axis gimbal. It is designed for remote meetings, presentations, and live streaming, where the camera automatically follows the subject even as they move around. The 1/2-inch CMOS sensor delivers 48-megapixel stills and smooth Ultra HD 4K video.
At roughly 91 grams with a compact body that fits in one hand, it is easy to carry and set up. A single USB cable handles both power and data, so you can start using it almost immediately. Positioned as the cost-effective option in the TINY series, it brings the lineup's signature AI features to a more accessible price point.

Connectivity & Compatibility

Connectivity is handled entirely through a single USB cable, making it compatible with PCs, Macs, and Windows machines that have a USB port. No special driver setup is required for basic operation.
The 2-axis gimbal removes the usual field-of-view limitations, letting you adjust the camera position freely. When mounted upside down or sideways, the image automatically rotates to maintain the correct orientation. The OBSBOT Center software provides fine-grained control over resolution, zoom, and other image parameters, and includes background blur, filter effects, and a beauty mode.

Product Info

The OBSBOT TINY 2 Lite sits in the entry-to-mid tier of the webcam market, offering AI tracking and gesture controls that were previously reserved for higher-end models. It is a strong choice for users who want the convenience of automatic framing without paying flagship prices.
Tilting the camera down activates sleep mode, and raising a specific hand gesture registers or releases the tracking target and adjusts zoom. These intuitive controls make it easy to operate even during a live presentation.

Best Use Cases

  • Remote workers who move around during video calls: the AI tracking keeps you centered in the frame even when you stand up or pace. Not ideal for those who sit perfectly still and want the cheapest possible webcam.
  • Streamers and content creators starting out: 4K resolution and noise reduction improve stream quality without requiring complex camera setups. Overkill if you are happy with your smartphone's camera for streaming.
  • Educators hosting online classes or webinars: background blur and beauty mode help maintain a professional appearance regardless of your home environment. Casual users who rarely make video calls may find a simpler, cheaper model sufficient.
