Overview

The Monoprice 8K Certified Braided Ultra High Speed HDMI Cable (25ft/7.6m) is a full-spec HDMI 2.1 cable designed for long-distance, high-bandwidth signal transmission. With up to 48Gbps throughput, it effortlessly handles 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz uncompressed video, along with Dynamic HDR, Dolby Vision, Dolby Atmos, and DTS:X. The braided jacket and CL2 in-wall rating make it suitable for permanent installations, while the 24AWG conductors ensure minimal signal loss over the full 7.6 m length.
This cable uses standard HDMI Type-A connectors on both ends. It is fully backward compatible with HDMI 1.4 and 2.0 devices, but its core value lies in HDMI 2.1 features: eARC, VRR, QMS, and DSC 1.2a (supporting up to 10K@120Hz with compression). It works seamlessly with PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, high-end PC GPUs (NVIDIA RTX 30/40 series, AMD RX 6000/7000 series), and any TV or monitor with an HDMI 2.1 port. The eARC support simplifies audio setups by carrying Dolby Atmos/DTS:X from the TV to an AV receiver or soundbar over a single cable.
Released around 2023, the Monoprice 8K Certified Braided HDMI Cable is available primarily through stores. The 25-foot black variant typically retails for around ¥8,700 (~$60 USD). Monoprice offers a standard one-year warranty. The cable comes with no additional accessories, but its braided outer layer and 24AWG copper conductors give it excellent durability and signal integrity for its class. Positioned as a high-end practical cable, it competes directly with offerings from Anker, Cable Matters, and Belkin, offering in-wall rating and full 48Gbps certification at a competitive price point.
Home theater enthusiasts: Long runs from an 8K TV to an AVR or projector are handled cleanly, with eARC ensuring lossless audio over the same wire. Console gamers: PS5 and Xbox Series X owners looking for stable 4K@120Hz with VRR will appreciate the certified 48Gbps bandwidth and the safety margin of a professionally built cable.Check the retailer's page for the latest user reviews.
