Overview

Midas: Eoru is a short, VR-only action-adventure from developer and publisher No Oath, released on October 14, 2026. You play as a SpaceGov agent sent to a distant planet to collect valuable "ORe" minerals.

But as you descend into the megastructure beneath the surface, it becomes clear that this was never a simple scientific expedition. Something is deeply wrong, and your only goal is to find out what happened and escape.

Highlights

  • VR-only, one-sitting experience: The entire game is designed to be completed in roughly one hour, making it a perfect evening-sized dose of atmospheric dread.
  • Brutalist environment exploration: The megastructure's stark, imposing architecture sets the tone for a psychological horror journey.
  • Immersive audio and unique combat: The game features a gun and tools with an interesting grenade/reload mechanic, plus two enemy types that keep encounters tense.
  • Puzzles and lore journals: Scattered journals piece together the story, and puzzles block your path as you uncover the truth.
  • Two endings: Your choices and discoveries lead to one of two conclusions, encouraging a second playthrough.

Who It's For

If you enjoy VR horror experiences that focus on atmosphere and exploration rather than lengthy campaigns, Midas: Eoru is a strong fit. Fans of sci-fi psychological horror, brutalist architecture, and short, focused narratives will find plenty to appreciate.

The one-hour runtime makes it accessible even for players who prefer bite-sized sessions, though the VR requirement means you'll need a headset to dive in.
