Overview

The MageGee TS91 is a 61-key wired membrane gaming keyboard with a compact 60% layout. By omitting the numpad and function row, it frees up significant desk space while keeping all essential typing keys within easy reach. The black chassis is paired with RGB backlighting, giving it a distinct gaming aesthetic without taking up much room.
Connectivity is purely wired, ensuring stable and responsive input during use. The membrane switch design keeps typing relatively quiet, making it a practical choice for shared spaces or late-night sessions. Measuring approximately 292 mm wide, 102 mm deep, and 40 mm tall, it weighs around 263 g, so it is easy to move between setups.

Connectivity & Compatibility

The TS91 connects via a standard USB wired interface and works as a plug-and-play device without requiring additional drivers. It is compatible with any desktop or laptop PC that has a USB port, including Windows-based systems.
Because of the 60% layout, arrow keys and function keys are accessed through Fn-key combinations. Users who rely heavily on shortcut keys may need some adjustment time, but the trade-off is a significantly smaller footprint that benefits those with limited desk space.

Product Info

The MageGee TS91 sits in the entry tier of gaming keyboards, offering a 61-key 60% layout and RGB backlighting at an accessible price point. The combination of wired connectivity and membrane switches keeps manufacturing costs low while still delivering the essential gaming keyboard experience.
This positioning makes it an attractive option for first-time gaming keyboard buyers or anyone looking for a compact secondary keyboard. It delivers the core features without the premium price tag of mechanical alternatives.

Best Use Cases

  • Users with limited desk space: the 60% layout maximizes mouse movement area, making it ideal for small desks or cramped setups. Those who need a full keyboard layout will find it limiting.
  • Users who prefer quiet typing: membrane switches produce less noise than mechanical ones, suitable for shared offices or nighttime use. Mechanical switch enthusiasts may find the feel unsatisfying.
  • Budget-conscious buyers wanting RGB: it offers backlighting and a compact design at an entry-level price. Users needing advanced macro support or software customization should look elsewhere.
