Overview

The LG 32GX850A-B is a 31.5-inch 4K OLED gaming monitor that pushes the boundaries of what a desktop display can deliver. What sets this monitor apart is its VESA Dual Mode support. In Full HD mode, the screen size can also be adjusted to 24 or 27 inches, giving esports players a familiar field of view without sacrificing speed.
Variable refresh rate (VRR) is fully supported, with both NVIDIA G-SYNC Compatible and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro certifications. This ensures tear-free, stutter-free gameplay across a wide range of GPUs.
Released in mid-2025, the 32GX850A-B sits at the top of LG's UltraGear OLED lineup. It's a premium-tier product that combines the deep blacks and vibrant colors of OLED with the high refresh rates demanded by competitive gamers. The standard warranty is one year, extendable to four years with product registration on LG's website. In the box you'll find the monitor, power cable, DisplayPort cable, USB upstream cable, and a quick-start guide. No speakers are included, so plan for external audio.
Just be aware of OLED burn-in risks if you leave static HUD elements on screen for hours. HDR content truly shines here. However, the lack of built-in speakers means you'll need separate audio gear.
OLED burn-in is a real concern if you plan to use this monitor for static desktop work or productivity tasks. It's best suited for gaming and media consumption where the content changes frequently. Also, the standard brightness of 275 cd/m² is modest, though peak brightness reaches 1300 cd/m² in small highlights for HDR.
Q: Can I use this monitor with a PS5 or Xbox Series X? Q: Does it have built-in speakers? A: No, there are no internal speakers. You'll need to connect external speakers, headphones, or a gaming headset. Q: What burn-in prevention features are included? A: LG includes pixel refresh, screen saver, and auto-dimming features that activate after periods of inactivity to reduce the risk of permanent image retention.
