Overview

Kisen: Seeker of Aenjan City invites players into a world of lingering mysteries and personal tragedy. This narrative-driven visual novel places you in the shoes of Kisen, a private investigator operating in the unfamiliar city of Stanisla. Alongside Beatrix, a sentient pocket watch inherited from his late brother, Kisen takes on a case that echoes his own past.

A local university student, Dimir, approaches Kisen with a desperate plea: find his younger brother, who vanished twelve years prior. This disappearance is intertwined with a series of unsettling events that occurred in Stanisla around the same time: a string of kidnappings, a strange acrid smell during the traditional Aenjan Festival, and the tragic drowning of a foreign clockmaker – Kisen's own brother.

As Kisen delves deeper into the investigation, the lines between the brothers' struggles and the city's hidden truths begin to blur.
