Overview

The Hsmienk Large Extended Gaming Mouse Pad is a roomy 31.5 x 15.7 inch desk mat that easily covers both a full-size keyboard and a mouse. It is built for gamers who need a stable aiming surface, but it also works well for home office setups where a clean and unified desk layout matters.
The mat uses a smooth cloth surface, reinforced with nylon stitched edges and backed by a non-slip natural rubber base. That combination keeps the whole pad planted during fast swipes while protecting the edges from fraying. A waterproof coating shrugs off small spills, and the Galactic Blue color gives the desk a calm, space-inspired accent. At 3mm thick, the transition from desk to mouse surface remains low and comfortable.

Connectivity & Compatibility

This is a passive desk accessory, so there are no drivers, USB cables, or power requirements to worry about. It works with virtually any optical or laser mouse, whether wired or wireless, on Windows, macOS, and just about any other operating system. The rubber base grips flat surfaces including wood, glass, and metal, and it stays in place during sudden flick movements.
For best results, place the mat on a clean and level desktop. If your desk has deep grain or slight unevenness, putting a thin sheet underneath can help the mat lie flatter. Since there is no electronics inside, the pad will not interfere with wireless receivers or other peripherals placed nearby.

Product Info

Hsmienk focuses on affordable and practical gaming accessories, so this mouse pad sits comfortably in the budget-to-mid tier. The typical street price is around 4,313 yen, which is fair for an extended mat of roughly 80 by 40 cm. The package contains the mat itself, with no brackets, clips, or software to install.
There is no clearly printed model number on the listing, so it is easiest to search by brand name and "gaming mouse pad" on major retail sites when looking for this Galactic Blue variant. Warranty details are not spelled out on the product page, so it is wise to check the seller's return and support terms before buying.

Best Use Cases

  • Competitive players: the large footprint and non-slip base keep the mat steady during low-sensitivity aiming, while the cloth surface offers a balanced mix of glide and control. If you prefer a hard, tactile pad, this plush cloth mat may feel too soft.
  • Remote workers and students: one mat can unify the keyboard and mouse area, protect the desk from scratches, and cut down on fiddly mouse jumps. Minimalists who want only a small mouse pad might find the size excessive.
  • Desk setup enthusiasts: the Galactic Blue finish is distinctive without being flashy and pairs well with RGB lighting and a clean peripheral palette. Users who insist on an all-black desk may find the blue tone less neutral.
  • People who keep drinks close while working or gaming: the waterproof coating handles small spills quickly and the surface wipes clean with a soft cloth. Keep a coaster under hot mugs to avoid heat damage.
