Gamepad test (buttons, sticks, drift)
Live buttons and sticks, a 3-second centre-drift estimate, and a deadzone preview. These are the values the browser receives.

How to use
- Connect the gamepad, then press any button so the browser reveals it.
- Move the sticks and press buttons; the display follows.
- Leave the sticks untouched and press “Measure centre drift (3 s)”.
- Drag the deadzone slider to see which small offsets would be treated as 0.
Worked example
Example: a stick resting at (0.03, 0.04) has an offset of 0.05 (the vector length). A deadzone of 0.06 or more would hide it; the table suggests a value a little above the largest offset seen.
Limits
- The numbers are what the browser receives. They differ from what a game does after its own deadzone, scaling and calibration.
- The mean offset is the length of the average (x, y) over 3 s; the max is the largest single sample. A rough estimate, not a verdict on wear.
- Button and axis numbering depends on the controller and the browser’s mapping.
- Each browser decides when to expose a pad; some need a button press first.
