Overview

Under Review is a psychological horror puzzle adventure from developer and publisher tatraboi, released on October 15, 2026. The game drops you into a quiet hotel lobby that exists outside of time and space.

Your only way out is to earn it by completing a strange inspection process overseen by a mysterious figure called the Manager, who watches from behind frosted glass.

The core loop is simple to grasp but unsettling to experience.Check the review panel on this page or the Steam listing for the latest user review trend.

In each one, you must compare what you see against what you remember. If an object is out of place, an extra item appears, or you get the creeping feeling that someone is watching from the dark, you document it on the inspection clipboard the Manager provides.

Highlights

  • Inspection-based gameplay: Each room comes with a different clipboard, and you categorize discrepancies across four classes as you explore.
  • Psychological horror atmosphere: The game leans on unease and observation rather than jump scares, with a focus on subtle changes and the sense of being watched.
  • Multiple endings and puzzle elements: Your choices and how thoroughly you document anomalies can lead to different outcomes, adding replay value for mystery fans.

Who It's For

If you enjoy slow-burn horror that rewards careful attention, or if you like puzzle games where the environment itself is the puzzle, Under Review should be on your radar. It's also a good fit for players who appreciate multiple endings and want to piece together a strange narrative through exploration.

The game supports multiplayer, so you can share the unsettling experience with a friend if you prefer not to face the Manager alone.
