In 1993 Montana, Nicole returns to her family's decaying hotel to fulfill her mother's dying wish: sell the property and make amends for a past tragedy. Ten years prior, Nicole's father's affair with Rachel, a girl her own age, led to Rachel's suicide. Now, with both parents deceased, Nicole must confront the hotel's secrets and the lingering shadow of Rachel's fate. As a sudden blizzard traps her in the isolated lodge, Nicole finds an unexpected ally in Irving, a young FEMA employee. Together, they must navigate the hotel's mysteries and the harsh winter.
