Hero Barrier plunges players into a world teetering on the brink of destruction, millennia before the founding of the current Kingdom. The narrative centers on the catastrophic arrival of Zypheria, the Lord of Devil, from Hades. This seemingly invincible entity brought the world to its knees, with even the mightiest Knights unable to inflict any harm. Salvation arrived in the form of a legendary Knight named Hylious, who discovered the Spirit Stone – the only artifact capable of damaging, and ultimately destroying, Zypheria. Though Hylious succeeded in ending the Devil Lord's reign, the immense power of the Spirit Stone exacted a heavy toll on his own life, earning him the moniker 'Death Knight' for his ultimate sacrifice.
