Overview

The ELECOM DH-SW4KBD21BK/E is a compact HDMI switch designed for setups where the number of HDMI ports never seems to be enough. It lets you connect two source devices to a single display and switch between them with the press of a button. The bidirectional design also works in reverse, letting one source feed two displays, which adds flexibility beyond a typical switch.
Video output supports up to 4K60Hz, and the unit is compatible with HDCP 1.4, 2.2, and 2.3. HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG are all supported, so protected content and HDR material display properly on compatible screens. The body is slim at roughly 12mm tall, making it easy to tuck into a desk setup without adding clutter.

Connectivity & Compatibility

On the input side, the switch has been verified to work with PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 Pro/4, Nintendo Switch, Fire TV Stick 4K, and Chromecast with Google TV (4K). DVD and Blu-ray recorders or players with HDMI output should also work without issue.
HDCP 2.2/2.3 support means copy-protected movies and streaming content display correctly. HDR10, Dolby Vision, and HLG compatibility ensures vibrant, high-contrast images when paired with an HDR-capable display.
Switching is handled entirely by the button on the unit itself. There is no remote control or app to deal with, which keeps the operation straightforward. This also eliminates the hassle of repeatedly unplugging and re-plugging HDMI cables.

Product Info
