Overview

The ECHTPower EP01BK is a wireless game controller built around a hall effect stick design. Because the sensor inside the stick is less affected by dust, it offers better durability than conventional stick mechanisms while delivering accurate, smooth control input. This makes it a solid option for gamers who want a controller that keeps its feel over a long period.
It supports a wide range of devices, including PC, Steam Deck, Switch, Android, and iOS. You can use it wirelessly via the included 2.4G receiver, or switch to wired mode by plugging in a cable. The built-in 800mAh battery is designed for extended play sessions, so you won't need to worry about frequent recharging.

Connectivity & Compatibility

The EP01BK offers two connection methods: wireless through a 2.4G receiver, and wired via cable. Supported platforms include PC, Steam Deck, Switch, Android, and iOS, giving you flexibility whether you are playing at a desk or from a distance away from the screen.
In wired mode, the controller supports a 1000Hz polling rate, which means your inputs are reflected in-game almost in real time. This is a meaningful advantage in fast-paced titles like FPS games and other competitive 3A experiences where split-second reactions matter.

Product Info

The ECHTPower EP01BK launched in October 2024 and sits in the entry-to-mid tier of the game controller market. It brings features that modern gamers look for, such as hall effect sticks and a 1000Hz polling rate, at a price point that is accessible for most players.
The RGB lighting is built into the analog stick area and offers nine colors. You can adjust the lighting pattern, choosing between a fixed single-color mode or a breathing mode that gradually shifts colors. A TURBO function is also included, with both press-and-hold and toggle options, plus three adjustable rapid-fire speeds.

Best Use Cases

  • Gamers who value stick durability: the hall effect sensor is less susceptible to dust, so the controller should maintain its precision over a longer lifespan than traditional sticks.
  • Players who switch between multiple platforms: with support for PC, Steam Deck, Switch, Android, and iOS, one controller can cover most of your gaming devices without needing separate purchases.
  • Competitive players who notice input lag: the 1000Hz polling rate in wired mode delivers near-instant response, which is useful in FPS and other fast-paced games.
