Overview

Bionic Commando is the first true sequel to the 1988 NES classic, bringing back the iconic bionically-enhanced soldier, Nathan "R.A.D." Spencer. Five years after his triumph over the Imperials, Spencer finds himself betrayed by the government he served, imprisoned for fabricated crimes, and facing execution. His fate takes a drastic turn when terrorists unleash a devastating experimental weapon in Ascension City, causing a massive earthquake that reduces the metropolis to ruins and decimates its population. The city's landscape is shattered, and a powerful terrorist force has seized control of its air defense grid.
