Overview
Nanairo Reincarnation invites players into the life of Kagami Makoto, a college student who unexpectedly inherits his grandfather's estate. His plans for a quiet new life are quickly disrupted by the appearance of his childhood friend, Iyo, who is revealed to be a zashiki-warashi, and a mysterious woman claiming to be a demon named Kikyou. Soon after, a detective from the local police force arrives, seeking Makoto's help to fulfill his family's ancestral duty: assisting wandering spirits in their transition to the afterlife and aiding the police in their investigations.
