Overview

The CORSAIR K70 RGB PRO WHITE is a white variant of the iconic K70 series gaming keyboard, launched in 2022. It features Corsair's proprietary OPX linear switches across all keys, delivering an 8000Hz polling rate and 4000Hz key scanning for ultra-low latency. The aluminum frame provides a sturdy build, and the detachable palm rest ensures comfort during long gaming sessions. Per-key RGB backlighting allows extensive customization via the iCUE software. The keyboard uses a Japanese JIS layout with kana legends, making it ideal for domestic users.

Connectivity & Compatibility

This keyboard connects via a wired USB-A interface, making it compatible with any PC or laptop that has a USB port. While basic typing works on macOS, full functionality—including RGB control and macro programming—requires Windows and the iCUE software. The onboard memory can store up to 50 profiles, allowing you to switch between different game or work setups without software. Full N-key rollover and 100% anti-ghosting ensure every keystroke is registered accurately, even during rapid multi-key presses.

Product Info

Released in 2022, the K70 RGB PRO WHITE sits in the mid-to-high-end segment of gaming keyboards. Its 8000Hz polling rate is among the fastest available, targeting competitive gamers who demand minimal input lag. The price is around ¥22,000–¥25,000, which is competitive for the feature set. The keyboard comes with a 2-year warranty, detachable palm rest, braided USB cable, keycap puller, and extra keycaps. It is widely available through online retailers and major electronics retailers.

Best Use Cases

This keyboard is ideal for competitive FPS players who need every millisecond advantage. The 8000Hz polling rate and linear OPX switches provide near-instantaneous response and smooth keystrokes for rapid actions.
It also suits users building a white-themed PC setup. The clean white aluminum frame and customizable RGB lighting create a visually cohesive and premium look.
Streamers and content creators will appreciate the iCUE software's ability to create game-linked lighting effects and macros. Dedicated media keys and a volume roller make it easy to adjust audio on the fly during streams.
However, it may not be suitable for those who prefer quiet keyboards, as mechanical switches produce audible clicks. Additionally, if you need wireless connectivity, this wired-only model won't meet your needs.
