Overview

The CORSAIR iCUE MM700 RGB 3XL (model CH-9417080-WW) is a massive cloth gaming mouse pad measuring 1220mm by 610mm—enough to cover most of a standard desk. It can accommodate a full-size keyboard, a mouse, and even a tablet or a small laptop with room to spare. What sets it apart is the built-in 2-port USB hub, allowing you to plug in a headset, mouse receiver, or other peripherals right at your desk without reaching for the PC. The pad features 3‑zone dynamic RGB lighting that can be customized via CORSAIR's iCUE software, with 12 onboard profiles for saving your favorite lighting effects. Non-slip rubber base keeps everything stable during intense gameplay.

Connectivity & Compatibility

The integrated USB hub uses USB 2.0 speeds, which is adequate for mice, headsets, and other low-bandwidth devices. It connects to your PC via a single USB‑A cable that emerges from the top edge of the pad (approximately 1.8m cable length). The pad works with both Windows and macOS, but the full iCUE software experience is available only on Windows. No additional drivers are required for basic hub functionality.

Product Info

Released in 2022, the MM700 RGB 3XL occupies the premium tier of gaming mouse pads. Its oversized dimensions, integrated USB hub, and customizable RGB lighting make it a standout choice for enthusiasts. The retail price in Japan is around ¥13,000–¥14,000, reflecting its feature set. The package includes the mouse pad and a USB cable only. CORSAIR offers a standard two-year warranty.

Best Use Cases

This pad is ideal for gamers who use low sensitivity in FPS titles and need a large, consistent surface for wide mouse movements. It’s also perfect for streamers or content creators who want a clean, illuminated desk setup with easy peripheral access. However, if you have a small desk or prefer a minimalist layout, the 3XL size may overwhelm your space. Also, note that the USB hub is only USB 2.0—not suitable for high-speed storage or charging.
