Overview

The Corsair iCUE H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT is a 360mm all-in-one liquid CPU cooler that combines excellent thermal performance with stylish RGB lighting. It supports the latest sockets including Intel LGA1700/1851 and AMD AM5/AM4, making it a great fit for high-end builds. The CAPELLIX LEDs deliver vibrant, customizable lighting, and the included iCUE software gives you full control over fan speeds, pump speed, and lighting profiles.

This cooler is ideal for users who want to push their CPU to the limit without thermal throttling, and who appreciate a clean, customizable aesthetic.

Key Features

  • 360mm radiator with high-density fins for efficient heat dissipation, handling CPUs up to ~350W
  • Three ML120 RGB ELITE fans with magnetic levitation bearing for low noise and high static pressure
  • CAPELLIX LED pump head with bright, uniform illumination and individually addressable zones
  • iCUE software integration for unified control of cooling and RGB across compatible Corsair devices
  • Tool-free mounting bracket for quick installation on LGA1700, LGA1851, AM5, and AM4

Compatibility Guide

Before installing, check the following:

  • Socket support: Intel LGA1700 / LGA1851 / LGA1200 / LGA115x, AMD AM5 / AM4 (not compatible with TR4 or sTRX4)
  • Case support: Your case must have a 360mm radiator mounting position (top or front). Account for radiator thickness (27mm) + fan thickness (25mm) = ~52mm total depth. Also ensure there is enough clearance for the radiator and fans inside the case.
  • Memory clearance: The pump head is compact and generally clears standard DDR4/DDR5 modules. Tall RGB RAM may require rotating the pump orientation during installation.
  • Power requirements: The cooler itself draws minimal power (~15W). Choose a power supply based on your CPU and GPU; no special PSU requirements for the cooler.

Ideal Builds

  • High-end gaming PC: Perfect for CPUs like Core i9-14900K or Ryzen 9 7950X3D to maintain boost clocks under heavy load.
  • Silent workstation: The fans can run at very low RPM when idle, keeping noise down during video editing or 3D rendering.
  • RGB-themed build: Sync lighting with other iCUE components for a cohesive look.

Upgrade Considerations

  • Case size: 360mm radiators require at least a mid-tower case. Measure your case's radiator support before purchasing.
  • Top vs front mounting: Top mounting exhausts heat through the top, which can warm up the VRM area. Front intake typically gives lower CPU temps but higher case internal temps. Choose based on your overall airflow strategy.
  • CPU tier: For Core i5 or Ryzen 5 level CPUs, a 240mm AIO or even a high-end air cooler is often sufficient and more cost-effective.
  • Longevity: AIO coolers have a finite lifespan due to pump wear. The H150i ELITE CAPELLIX XT comes with a 5-year warranty. Plan for eventual replacement after that period.
