## Overview

Xerrick is a fast-paced, top-down bullet hell arcade game developed and published by Horned Jaguar Studios. Released on October 15, 2026, it drops you into a single arena where a growing swarm of deadly motes closes in from all sides. Your goal is simple: survive as long as you can by weaving through the chaos, timing your dashes, and finding the gaps before the screen fills with projectiles.

The game's colorful 2D visuals and futuristic setting give it a distinct arcade feel, while the core loop of dodging and counterattacking keeps the tension high.

## Highlights

- **Three distinct game modes**: Arcade (chase high scores with all weapons and bonus lives), Endurance (survive as long as possible with no bonus lives), and Steel (one life, no weapons, pure skill).
- **Weapon collection and combination**: Pick up weapons like Pulse Bomb, Chain Bolt, and Prism Trail to clear space, tear through swarms, or leave a lethal trail. Combining weapons can produce interesting effects.
- **Multiplayer support**: The game includes multiplayer features, allowing you to face the swarm with friends.

## Who It's For

Xerrick is perfect for fans of bullet hell shooters and arcade action games who enjoy testing their reflexes and strategic positioning. The three modes cater to different playstyles: Arcade for score chasers, Endurance for survivalists, and Steel for those who want a brutal challenge. If you like games like Geometry Wars or Enter the Gungeon, this should be on your radar.
