## Overview
It offers 40 levels of adjustable actuation from 0.1mm to 4.0mm, along with competitive features like Rapid Trigger, Rapid Tap, and Protection Mode. PBT keycaps and per-key RGB backlighting complete the package. Designed for professional esports players and hardcore FPS gamers, this compact keyboard delivers near-instantaneous response and customizable actuation per key, giving users a significant edge in fast-paced competitive titles.
The keyboard uses a detachable USB-C to USB-A cable for wired connectivity. Advanced software features (GG QuickSet, custom profiles) require the SteelSeries GG software on Windows, though the onboard memory allows storing settings for portable use. A hardware switch on the keyboard toggles between Windows and Mac layouts, and the keyboard supports standard USB HID protocol for broad compatibility.
Check the retailer's page for the latest price. The package includes a USB-C to USB-A cable, a keycap puller, and a few extra PBT keycaps (e. g. , for the ESC key). The manufacturer offers a standard 2-year warranty. In the market, this keyboard competes directly with the Razer Huntsman Mini Analog and Wooting 60HE+, differentiating itself through SteelSeries' Protection Mode (reduces accidental actuation from nearby keys) and the tight integration with the SteelSeries GG ecosystem for per-game profiles.
Competitive FPS and fighting game players — Rapid Trigger resets the key as soon as it is released, enabling faster strafing and counter-strafing in games like Valorant, Apex Legends, and Counter-Strike 2. The adjustable actuation allows for lighter touches for movement while keeping a deeper actuation for abilities. Ideal for those who use large mouse pads and prefer an ergonomic setup. * Enthusiasts who love deep customization — Every key can have its own actuation point (0.1-4.0mm), and Rapid Tap's SOCD handling can be tuned. With the GG software, you can create multiple profiles and switch them on the fly via the function layer, tailoring the keyboard to each game or application.
