## Overview
The RK ROYAL KLUDGE X104 is a wired full-size mechanical gaming keyboard featuring a standard 104-key layout with a dedicated numpad. It combines a premium TOP structure with five layers of sound-dampening foam to reduce typing noise and enhance keypress stability. The keyboard is equipped with pre-lubed linear switches that offer a smooth, frictionless feel, making it suitable for both gaming and office work.
One of the standout features is the hot-swappable switch socket, which supports 3-pin switches without soldering, allowing users to easily customize the typing feel. The detachable aluminum volume knob provides quick audio control, and the double-shot PBT keycaps resist fading and shine over time. With 16.8 million RGB colors and 20 lighting effects, the X104 can match any setup.

## Connectivity & Compatibility
The X104 connects via a USB-C cable and is plug-and-play compatible with Windows and Mac systems. It supports N-key rollover, ensuring accurate simultaneous key presses during intense gaming sessions. The keyboard's online software enables key remapping, macro creation, and RGB customization. It works with any device that has a USB-A or USB-C port, including laptops and desktop PCs.

## Product Info
It includes a full set of accessories: one spare keycap, a keycap and switch puller, four spare switches, a USB cable, and a user manual. The warranty follows the manufacturer's standard terms. This keyboard is a strong contender for budget-conscious buyers who want hot-swappable switches and PBT keycaps without breaking the bank.

## Best Use Cases
* Budget gamers: The X104 delivers a solid mechanical typing experience with hot-swappable switches at a very low price. The linear switches are quiet and smooth, ideal for FPS and MOBA games. Gamers who prefer tactile or clicky feedback can easily swap in their preferred switches.
* Office workers and programmers: The sound-dampened design keeps typing noise low, making it suitable for shared workspaces. The full-size layout with numpad is great for data entry and coding shortcuts.
* Keyboard customization beginners: The solderless hot-swap sockets make it easy to experiment with different switches. The online software is intuitive for remapping keys and setting up macros.
Enthusiasts seeking premium aluminum cases or gasket-mounted builds may find the X104's plastic construction less appealing.
