## Overview
It is designed for gamers and office workers who want to free up desk space without giving up the keys they use most. The tenkeyless form factor leaves plenty of room for mouse movement, which is a practical advantage during gaming sessions.
This model uses red mechanical switches, which are known for a light actuation feel and quieter operation compared to clicky switches. The JIS Japanese layout makes it a natural fit for users who type in Japanese regularly. With a detachable USB Type-C cable, the keyboard is also easy to pack up and carry between locations.

## Connectivity & Compatibility
The G05 connects via a wired USB Type-C interface, and the cable is detachable for easier cable management and transport. Simply plug it into a compatible Windows PC and the keyboard is ready for basic typing. To unlock the full macro functionality, you will need to install the dedicated software, which is available for Windows.
Since the layout is JIS, Japanese input is straightforward without needing to remap keys. The keyboard is best suited for desktop use, and the detachable cable adds flexibility for users who frequently move their setup.

## Product Info
The iClever G05 sits in the entry-to-mid tier of gaming keyboards, offering a well-rounded set of features at an accessible price point.
It is available through online retailers such as online retailers. The keyboard is a sensible choice for anyone looking to step up from a membrane keyboard without spending a premium.

## Best Use Cases
- Users who switch between home and office setups: the detachable USB Type-C cable makes transport simple, and the JIS layout avoids input headaches for Japanese typing.
- Power users who want per-key macros: nearly every key can be assigned a macro and multiple profiles can be saved, though the dedicated Windows software is required for setup.
