## Overview
The BENFEI HDMI KVM Switch (8K@60Hz/4K@240Hz) USB Switch, model BNF-KVM-0355G, is a KVM switch that lets two computers share a single monitor and multiple USB devices. Its defining feature is the clamp-style mount that attaches to a monitor edge or desk edge, keeping your workspace tidy.
This unit supports HDMI 2.1, delivering up to 8K/60Hz or 4K/240Hz video output. It also includes four USB 3.0 ports with transfer speeds up to 5Gbps, plus support for HDR, CEC, and 3D content. For users juggling a work PC and a personal PC, this switch simplifies cable management and streamlines daily workflows.

## Connectivity & Compatibility
The KVM switch connects two PCs to one monitor via HDMI, while USB cables link each PC to the unit. Once connected, you can share a keyboard, mouse, external HDD, and other USB peripherals across both machines. The four USB 3.0 ports handle data transfer at up to 5Gbps, and USB 2.0 devices remain compatible as well.
Switching between PCs is done with a manual button on the unit, so there is no need to unplug and replug cables. The clamp mount fits surfaces between 5mm and 36mm thick, making it easy to attach to most monitor stands or desk edges. An adjustment screw secures the unit firmly in place.

## Product Info
The BENFEI HDMI KVM Switch sits in the entry-to-mid tier of KVM switches, offering modern 8K/60Hz support at a competitive price point. It is widely available through online retailers such as online retailers.
The manufacturer backs the product with an 18-month warranty, which adds peace of mind for long-term use. This combination of features and affordability makes it a practical choice for dual-PC setups.

## Best Use Cases
- Professionals who alternate between a work PC and a personal PC: sharing one monitor, keyboard, and mouse reduces desk clutter and speeds up switching. The one-touch button makes transitions seamless, ideal for those who switch frequently.
- Creative users working with high-resolution content: 8K/60Hz and 4K/240Hz support, along with HDR, ensures accurate and smooth visuals for video editing or graphic design. This is a solid fit for anyone using a high-end display.
- Users with multiple USB peripherals like external drives: the four USB 3.0 ports allow fast file transfers between both PCs. However, those who prefer a wireless setup or have no space for a clamp-mounted device may want to look elsewhere.
