## Overview

Belgo Odyssey is a 2D action-arcade game with a distinctly Belgian sense of humor. Developed by Monobloc Team and published by Asbl Monobloc, this indie title launched on Steam on October 16, 2026. It casts you aboard the airship Albert, traveling across the country in a mission that is equal parts absurd and patriotic. The game leans into satire, poking fun at national stereotypes while delivering fast-paced, arcade-style combat.

## Highlights

- **Absurdly Belgian setting**: The entire game is a love letter to Belgium, from its landmarks to its quirks, wrapped in a satirical tone.
- **Diverse enemies**: Battle Sputnik drones, Panzercopies, bizarre creatures, and very Belgian bosses—each encounter adds variety to the action.
- **Classic arcade loop**: Collect beers, eat fries, and fight to save Belgium in a straightforward, pick-up-and-play design that suits the action-arcade genre.

## Who It's For

If you enjoy 2D shoot-'em-ups with a comedic twist, Belgo Odyssey is likely to hit the spot. It's also a treat for anyone who appreciates cultural satire or has a soft spot for Belgian humor. The game is single-player only, so it's best suited for those who prefer solo arcade sessions. Since it's currently available in French only, players comfortable with that language will get the most out of the experience.
