Prepare yourself for ALTF42, a unique indie title from developer PUMPKIM that blends challenging gameplay with a healthy dose of absurdity. This isn't your typical adventure; it's a permadeath experience where every mistake is final, pushing you to hone both your reflexes and your emotional control.

## Overview
ALTF42 throws players into a world where the simple act of reaching a goal is fraught with peril. The game's premise is straightforward: navigate treacherous traps and overcome obstacles. However, the journey is anything but simple. You'll embody the iconic Don Quixote, embarking on a quest to rescue a king who has been transformed into a chicken. This bizarre scenario sets the stage for a game that demands sharp reflexes and a strong mental fortitude, as there are no saves to fall back on. Each playthrough is a fresh start, but the developer promises a tangible sense of improvement as you learn the game's unforgiving mechanics.

## Highlights
* Permadeath Challenge: Experience a true permadeath system where death means starting over, fostering a steep but rewarding learning curve.
* Quixotic Quest: Step into the boots of Don Quixote on a bizarre mission to save a chicken-king, facing fantastical and unexpected trials.
* Item Shop for the Faint of Heart: For those who find the permadeath too daunting, an in-game shop offers items to ease the journey, though players are warned against any form of gambling.

## Who It's For
ALTF42 is designed for players who enjoy a good challenge and don't mind a bit of dark humor mixed with their gameplay. If you appreciate games that test your patience, reward perseverance, and offer a unique, memorable experience, this title is worth a look. Fans of 3D platformers and action-adventure games with a comedic twist will find plenty to enjoy here.
