## Overview

What if you had to pass a job interview while hiding the fact that your heart doesn't beat on schedule? That's the premise of *Alien Applicant*, a sci-fi visual novel from developer WizardSotyGames. Released on October 11, 2026, this single-player adventure puts you in the shoes of an alien who came to Earth to study humanity—only to be hit with the most human of demands: proof of employment.

The game blends office comedy with a cosmic secret. The description warns that "the perfect applicant is a lie," and that's the core tension: every answer you give is a performance.

## Highlights

- **Dialogue-heavy visual novel** with a focus on reading between the lines and managing a cover story.
- **Choices matter** — your answers shape five hidden stats: Cover, Human Fluency, Heat, Trust, and Evidence.
- **Mouse-only option** and playable at your own pace, with no timed input, making it accessible for relaxed play.

## Who It's For

If you enjoy atmospheric, text-based adventures where dialogue is the main gameplay, *Alien Applicant* will likely appeal. It's for players who like to dissect social cues, who appreciate a good office satire, and who don't mind a little existential dread mixed with their humor. The lack of timed input means you can take your time deciding who to trust—and who to lie to.
