## Overview
"A Painter's Tale: Curon, 1950" is an evocative adventure game that delves into themes of love, resistance, and historical memory. Set against the backdrop of the submerged village of Curon, the game invites players to uncover a poignant story rooted in a real-world tragedy. The construction of a dam in 1950 led to the flooding of Curon, displacing its residents despite their protests. This historical event, driven by industrial interests over community well-being during the Fascist era, forms the core of the narrative.

Players step into the shoes of a painter visiting the modern-day Curon Venosta. The journey takes an unexpected turn when the painter is mysteriously drawn into the lake, awakening to a narrative that bridges the past and present.
